FAQ

What photography packages do you offer?  

For weekend weddings I offer an 7 hour package for £795. This is usually ample to cover your morning preparations right through to your first dance. But I cater for every couple's timetable and extra time can be added on (or reduced if you require less coverage).  Photobooks can also be included on request. 

I also offer a weekday (Monday-Thursday) 2 hour photography package, to accommodate those couples still wanting a special day but perhaps a lower-key version. This includes your high-res photographs on a USB. Please see the prices page for more information.

I will also happily provide a completely personalised quotation to meet your exact plans and timetable.

Can we have the high-resolution photos? 

Yes - I provide a USB stick containing your colour and black and white photographs, for you to keep and use as you wish. These can be used to create your own album or photobook, or order prints and enlargements from.  

What is your style of photography?

I love to depict the story of your special day - the interactions and all the little details just the way you envisaged them. Typically I won't spend the day ‘taking over’, posing you and your guests.   However, I will tailor the photographs to suit your requirements, so if you would like more emphasis on formal poses then all you have to do is ask. I have plenty of ideas and suggestions, however I always embrace new ones from you too!

Being a published garden photographer too, I cherish natural light and use this to the best advantage. So if you're in a room with light pouring in through the window, or enjoying your champagne outdoors at sunset then I'll be in my element. My style of photography lends itself particularly well to outdoorsy venues, perhaps with rustic appeal, green spaces, pretty courtyards and country landscapes. 

What areas do you cover:

I photograph weddings all over East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Surrey and the south. ...If your venue is further away, that shouldn't be a problem!

What albums or photobooks do you offer?

Loxley provide a stunning, high quality photobook called the 'Bellissimo' album, which is my product of choice. If this would be of interest as an add-on to your wedding photography package then I can provide a quote.  I also offer less formal, pretty hardback photobooks, which couples often purchase as gifts for their parents or bridesmaids.

How do we see your portfolio and product samples?

I would be delighted to arrange a meeting with you and discuss your ideas. I believe you must feel comfortable with your chosen wedding photographer, and it is so important to choose the right one.  I will bring along product samples and my portfolio so you can get a proper feel for my creative style.  

Do you have qualifications?

I have achieved the Licentiateship Distinction with the Royal Photographic Society.  I have also won an award with the International Garden Photographer of the Year, and my images are regularly published in magazines.  Much of my work is through client recommendations - which is always a wonderful compliment.  I have over 25 years’ experience, and as well as taking gorgeous photographs my aim is to help guide you through the whole process, and have loads of fun in the process! 

Do you work at particular wedding venues?

No - I love working at new ones or old familiar ones equally!

Do we need to pay a booking deposit? 

If after we've met you feel you would like to book me, a 25% deposit (or a minimum of £100) is required to secure your wedding date. You will receive a contract and booking form in the post to sign and return. The remaining balance for your wedding photography is due 6 weeks prior to your wedding. 

How does the online gallery work?

All of your edited photographs will be uploaded to a beautifully presented online gallery.  You will receive your own link to your private gallery, along with your password. You can share this with your wedding guests, friends and family at your discretion. They can order prints and products directly from the website.
